Select the Right Riveter

The first step is to select the right SPR riveter for the job. There are various types of riveters available, such as manual, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Each type has its advantages and disadvantages.

For small-scale repairs or occasional use, a manual SPR riveter may be sufficient. For high-volume repairs or heavy-duty applications, a pneumatic or hydraulic riveter is recommended.

Choose the Appropriate Rivets

It is important to ensure that the riveter is held perpendicular to the work surface throughout the riveting process.

Inspect the Joint

After setting the rivet, inspect the joint visually and physically. The joint should be tight and free of any gaps or movement.

If any defects are observed, the rivet may need to be adjusted or replaced.
